“An AI-research-grade team, embedded into a regulated fintech, without any of the usual tradeoffs.”

Bridgewise, founded in 2019 by Gabriel Diamant and the Eligula brothers, builds proprietary AI that analyses 90%+ of listed global securities in 20+ languages. We embedded specialist ML and platform engineers directly into their Tel Aviv team. The partnership is 4,5 years deep. Bridgewise has raised $35M, signed 110 financial institutions, and now reaches 25M end users worldwide.

"Scaling global talent and cloud innovation."

Project details

Bridgewise's core technology is two-pillared: a machine-learning algorithm trained on 20+ years of historical market data scoring 50,000+ listed securities, and a generative-AI layer based on a proprietary Micro Language Model (MLM) that produces analyst-grade reports in the reader's preferred language. Both pillars needed engineers who understood LLM production, financial-market plumbing, and the regulatory weight of investment research.

Co-founder Or Eligula (COO) asked us in 2020 for a Staff Augmentation engagement, not a one-off hire, not a vendor team. He wanted engineers who sat inside Bridgewise standups, owned modules end-to-end, and felt like Bridgewise employees from day one.

The challenge

Find ML engineers with both LLM-production experience and real understanding of financial markets, before competing fintechs and the foundation-model labs in Tel Aviv locked them up. Hire to the seniority bar Bridgewise leadership would accept. Embed them so cleanly that, from the outside, you couldn't tell which seat at the table was permanent and which came through us.

The solution

We ran a tightly filtered CVCO scan combining LLM-ops keywords with finance-domain experience, then deepened the screen with a recorded exam built around real Bridgewise data. Each engineer signed onto our payroll, then was embedded full-time into the Bridgewise team in Tel Aviv and Warsaw. Same standups, same sprint planning, same on-call rotation. The relationship now spans 4,5 years; we've helped Bridgewise scale model evaluation, the MLM pipeline, and the multi-language report engine.

The approach

The recorded skill exam included a paper on a recent LLM-eval method, candidates had to read it the night before and discuss tradeoffs live. That single screen removed about 70% of names. Only finalists met Bridgewise leadership. Every engineer we embedded came in pre-aligned on the codebase, the eval harness, and the financial-domain vocabulary, they were shipping by the end of week one.

Consistently impressed by the quality of their outstaffing service. Excellent communication, dependable, efficient, a valuable partner in our long-term cooperation. Highly recommended. Or Eligula · COO, Bridgewise

The outcome

Bridgewise closed a $21M Series A in April 2024 led by SIX Group, bringing total raised to $35M. In 2026 the company acquired Chicago-based Context Analytics for an estimated $13M, expanding into alternative-data processing. The embedded engineering pod we built and run sits inside that growth story, the same team, scaled, still shipping. Today Bridgewise serves 110 financial institutions, reaches 25M end users worldwide, and produces AI analysis in 20+ languages across 90%+ of global securities.
